That’s all folks! In February, we joined the Tennessee Riverkeeper for our last Waterkeepers Alabama watershed visit as part of the Mosaic Ten Rivers Project. The Tennessee River spans 7 states. Together, we talked about PFAs, sewage issues, and microplastics, and joined a cleanup along the Clark Springs Branch. We also visited the Osprey Initiative to learn more about the use of Litter Gitters outside of Birmingham and visited the Wheeler Wildlife Refuge to see the cranes.
We are so grateful to Mosaic for making the trips to each watershed across the state possible. We were given the opportunity to learn with and from one another. We hope to continue learning, growing, and strengthening our relationships together in the future!
